Sibersong’s Masked Maker CGC - "Nina"
Parents: Kelim's Scooby Doo SDX x Kelim's Majora Mask At Kannook SD
Siberian Husky Female, Altered
Age: 4 Years
Nina is a spayed female that had been placed as a pup and returned to me later on. She arrived timid and un-handleable but after 2 years of working with her she has come a long long way! She will now let me pet her, trim her nails, put flea/tick drops on, fly ointment on, brush her, leash walk her, and she's been harness trained and loves it. She will never be a super affectionate siberian, will always be somewhat timid especially with strangers, and any new owner she goes to will need to commit to continuing to work with her so she doesn't regress. Nina would do best in an active rec home with other dogs and with a female owner. She seems to have a high prey drive like many siberians so would not be good with small dogs or cats. Nina is free to the right home.
Sibersong's Snowstorm - "Storm"
Parents: Sibersong's Moussed Wanted x Sibersong's Daffodil SDX
Siberian Husky Male, Intact
Age: 4 Years
Storm is a sweet and very energetic boy who is seeking an active pet home. He has a few health conditions that prevent him from being on a competitive race team, which is why I have to place him. Storm has a mild case of epilepsy where he typically has 2 or 3 seizures per year, usually when girls are in season and usually when running in harness. Neutering him may decrease the number of seizures he has. He is not on any sort of medication for epilepsy at this time because the seizures are so infrequent. Storm was also diagnosed with a mild heart murmur at a race this winter, and the vets there claim it is not an athletic murmur. Due to these 2 issues, I feel it would be best for Storm to find an active pet home rather than be part of a sled dog team. He would do very well with other medium to large dogs in the household to play with, and he would be excellent with children. I do not know how he would be with cats or small animals so advise not trying it (siberians have a notoriously high prey drive). He will need a yard to run around in and/or daily exercise to keep him happy. He may be perfectly fine running short distances recreationally. Storm is free to the right home, but you will need to neuter him.
